History

For the past year and a half, Angry Diesel has been one of the most aggressive hard-core-thrash bands to ever come out of Michigan. This has definitely not changed. Everything that you have come to expect from those millitant bastards holds true to this day. With their debut release titled " UNCONQUERED." Angry Diesel has become one of the few genuine underground bands to get as much recognition in such a short peroid. Their 5 song E.P rocks with as much adrenaline and energy as their live performance, but was the album was never released. After playing 30 plus shows within two and a half months, Angry Diesel took a hiatus. It was clear that the band was sick of one another.

In early 2001, after 10 years of no contact with each other, childhood friends Cory Boland and Robert Costley (Heresy) were reunited with one another. Cory informed Rob of a metal project that he and guitarist Jason Hill had been trying to get off the ground for approximately one year. Rob then invited Cory and Jason over to a Heresy band practice. After Heresy had finished their set for the night, Cory and Jason began playing an original song (Unconquered) they had written together. High black metal screams, raspy but clear vocals, backed by thrashy hardcore guitar rythms. Rob thought it was interesting, but yet very catchy. Cory then asked Rob if he would be interested in filling in as a tempory drummer, Rob agreed to help them out.

Angry Diesel consists of core members Cory Boland(vocals), Jason Hill(guitar), as well as Heresy members Robert Costley(drums), and Kirk VanProoyen(Bass).

Trevor Antonides, the newest addition and long time friend of the band, has since replaced Kirk on bass.
